Hi everyone, hope you're staying warm, and congratulations on successfully getting through January blues! 💪
This week's focus is the impact of social anxiety on work and career prospects. Many people (mistakenly) think that it's impossible to hold a job with social anxiety.
While this may be true in some cases and during relapse, most of us are able to work and socialize, but it takes a lot of energy.
Energy that could otherwise be spent on creative pursuits, our close ones or doing things that make us feel good.
I'd like to open this space to hear your diverse experiences in this area.
Is social anxiety affecting your career? Have you found any ways to manage it that might be helpful for others?
Please share your answers or tips in comments, if this is relatable ✨
