Hello everyone, hope you're having a nice Monday.
I listened to this podcast episode from The Happiness Lab over the weekend (thanks to my dad for the recommendation!).
The second half of the episode is about the tools that American actor Tony Hale (from Arrested Development) uses to manage his social anxiety.
The first half is about expectations, presence, and (the risks of) chasing "the next big thing".
It's very good: honest, interesting, and useful. I hope you enjoy it if you listen :)
Warm wishes,
Sofie

Some quotes to whet (?) your appetite:
"If you only concentrate on the next big thing, you'll miss your chance to be happy, right now"
"I gave a looooot of power to wanting to re-do trauma with these "accomplishments", and it was diarrhoea commercial on a train!"
"Not right now." (said to the worrying mind that is trying to protect)
