A major challenge I had to overcome with my social anxiety was public speaking.
Starting my Instagram page helped as it gave me a purpose and, in a way forced me to post and share things that I would never have done before.
It took me over a year to go from posting simple text photos to eventually doing lives...it was a gradual process.
I'm not going to lie- stepping outside of my comfort zone was really nerve racking.
However, each time I did it, it got easier and easier, until it almost felt normal.
My anxiety does creep up on me every now and then, but when it does, I think about the reason why I am posting is to help others struggling with social anxiety...and this ease the anxiety.
