Journaling played a key role in my healing journey.
I struggled to understand what I was feeling never mind where those feelings were coming from.
Journaling helped me process my thoughts and gave me clarity. I was able to identify triggers and explore why they were triggers.
Ultimately, I realised most of any anxiety came from low self-esteem, and my belief that I wasn't good enough or didn't belong.
Once I recognised this, I was able to work on my self-worth and practiced self-compassion.
I replaced my irrational negative thoughts with facts...this was a game changer for me!
