Now that we’re heading to a new year, I’d like for us to look back.
With all the positives and the milestones throughout the past years, this post I’d like us to think about any loose ends that perhaps we’d like to resolve for the future.
By connecting with things that we might not be at peace with, this can hopefully help us acknowledge that this might be holding us back from focusing on new intentions.
"What is something in your life that you’re not feeling totally at peace with right now?"
It might be helpful for you to start by closing your eyes and asking yourself the question above, what’s the first thing that comes to your mind ? Try to be open and gentle with your thoughts and if possible, it is best to choose something that you have control over changing if you would like to.
E.g.,
- I’m not at peace with my habit of complaining instead of changing things.
- I don’t feel at peace with my habit of checking my phone first thing in the morning.
- I feel that I have unresolved problems with my habit of going to bed late when i’m feeling stressed.
If you have anything that you’d like to share, after reflecting on this question, please feel free to share them in the comments; this is a judgement free zone 🤗
P.S. If you have not checked out our Holiday Support space, we encourage you to have a look. This week we’re focusing on setting intentions - you can read about The Value of Setting An Intention and tomorrow, we’ll be sharing an interactive exercise to help you set your own intention.
