Hi everyone, welcome to another Wednesday discussion.
This week I'd us to invite you to reflect on the kind of support that would feel reaaaallyyyyy good for you right now.
There's so much going on in our lives - we spend a lot of time working on ourselves, spending mental energy on rumination (sometimes it's hard not to...), and then external things also happen and we need to deal with them even if our resources are low.
But you're not alone and you don't need to know how to figure it all out.
Reflecting on the kind of support that would feel nourishing for you is the first step to acknowledging that support is ok and asking for it does not mean we are a failure.
And if you're finding yourself resisting this or maybe feel like you don't deserve support, think about this one: If a friend came to you and asked for support, would you think they are asking for too much?
Let's treat ourselves like we do our friends and others :)
Take a moment to close your eyes, take a deep breath and ask yourself this question:
What kind of support would feel really good right now?
If you'd like, please share your answers with us in comments and let's inspire each other to dare to want and ask for support. You can also share your thoughts on this exercise or anything else that comes up as you're trying to engage with it. All of you is welcome here 🌸
